Submitted to the Royal Council of Aetherra
Any citizen wishing to establish a guild, faction, or organized group within the realm must submit a proposal for review by the Royal Council. This helps maintain consistency within the lore while allowing players to develop new stories and organizations.
A faction should introduce a new story or role within the world rather than duplicate an existing organization.
Please complete the following sections when submitting your proposal and submit it through the #open-court feature in discord.

Provide a short description explaining:
- What the group is
- What it does
- Why it exists in the world of Aetherra
Example questions to guide this section:
- Is it a scholarly order?
- A guild of merchants?
- A group of explorers or monster hunters?
- A religious or philosophical group?
📖 Lore Integration
How does this faction fit into the world of Aetherraa?
Explain how the group connects with existing lore. Consider:
- What part of the world they influence
- Their relationship with existing kingdoms or organizations
- Any historical or narrative inspiration behind the group
⚔️ Activities & Gameplay
Describe what members of the faction would actually do in-game.
Examples:
- Exploration and research
- Building projects
- Trading and commerce
- Hunting monsters
- Hosting events
- Story-driven roleplay activities
👥 Membership Structure

Describe possible ranks within the organization.
Example:
• Leader / Founder
• Senior Members
• Initiates / Apprentices
Note: Leadership titles must not conflict with existing recognized titles within Aetherra unless approved by the Crown.
🧭 Relationship to Existing Factions (If any)
Explain how your faction relates to existing groups such as:
- Kingdom governments
- Other guilds or orders
Your organization should add to the world rather than replace or override existing lore structures.
📜 Trials, Tasks, or Initiation (Optional)
If your faction includes a path for new members, describe any:
- Initiation tasks
- Trials or challenges
- Roleplay traditions
⚖️ Acknowledgment of Lore Rules
By submitting this proposal, the founder acknowledges that:
• Major titles must be approved by the Crown
• New factions and guilds require Royal Council approval
• The Council may request adjustments before approval
• Approval allows the faction to exist within the official lore of Aetherra
