The Royal Council serves as the governing body that helps guide the development, stability, and long-term growth of Aetherra. Council members work together to maintain a healthy community, support the server’s lore and worldbuilding, and ensure that decisions affecting the realm are made thoughtfully and collaboratively.

The council exists to protect the server’s integrity while encouraging creativity, collaboration, and fair participation by all citizens.

Misuse of Royal Authority

Royal titles grant responsibility, not unchecked power.

Members of the Crown, including Queens, Royals, and Royal Council members, are expected to act with fairness, integrity, and respect toward all citizens of Aetherra.

The following behaviors are considered misuse of royal authority:

• Using royal power to intimidate or harass players
• Granting unfair advantages to friends or allies
• Punishing players without cause
• Making major kingdom decisions without consultation
• Ignoring established server or kingdom laws

If a citizen believes a royal has acted improperly, they may bring their concerns before the Royal Council through #open-court
for review.

The Royal Council has the authority to investigate and, if necessary, remove or discipline members who misuse their position.
