Once found, those seeds can be planted and grown into tracked AetherHarvest crops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When fully grown and harvested, specialty crops drop custom AetherHarvest ingredients and may return additional specialty seeds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Current Specialty Crops<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>Honeygrain<br>Rice<br>Cucumber<br>Frost Sugar<br>Golden Herbs<br>Void Pepper<br>Garlic<br>Deeproot<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Each specialty crop has its own seed item, planting requirements, and ingredient result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning About Specialty Crops<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Players can view specialty crop information through the <strong>AH Cookbook<\/strong> lectern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To create one:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>1. Rename a Book and Quill or Written Book to AH Cookbook.<br>2. Place it on a Lectern.<br>3. Right-click the Lectern with an empty hand.<br>4. Open the Crops section.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>The Crops section shows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>Specialty crop names<br>How to find their seeds<br>Where each crop can be planted<br>Special requirements<br>Kingdom restrictions<br>What each crop produces<br>Possible seed returns<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Sneak-right-click allows normal lectern behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Find Specialty Seeds<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Specialty seeds are rare drops from normal farming and harvesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>Honeygrain Seeds:<br>Rare drop from fully grown Wheat.<br><br>Rice Seeds:<br>Rare drop from fully grown Wheat.<br>More likely from Wheat harvested directly beside water.<br><br>Cucumber Seeds:<br>Rare drop from Melon blocks.<br><br>Frost Sugar Seeds:<br>Rare drop from mature Sweet Berry Bushes.<br>Can also rarely drop from Melon blocks and Glow Berries.<br><br>Golden Herb Seeds:<br>Rare drop from Carrots, Potatoes, and Glow Berries.<br><br>Void Pepper Spores:<br>Rare drop from mature Nether Wart.<br>Can also rarely drop from Chorus Plants and Chorus Flowers in Norivia.<br><br>Garlic Bulb:<br>Rare drop from fully grown Potatoes.<br><br>Deeproot Seeds:<br>Rare drop from fully grown Beetroots in Underlend.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>The AH Cookbook Crops section is the best place to check seed sources in-game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Plant Specialty Crops<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To plant a specialty crop:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>1. Find or receive a specialty seed.<br>2. Check the crop\u2019s planting requirements in the AH Cookbook.<br>3. Right-click the correct planting block with the specialty seed.<br>4. Let the crop grow.<br>5. Harvest it when fully mature.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>If a crop cannot be planted somewhere, the plugin will tell you why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Crop Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Some specialty crops have special rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>Rice:<br>Must be planted directly beside water.<br><br>Void Pepper:<br>Can only be planted in Norivia.<br>Must be planted on Soul Sand.<br><br>Deeproot:<br>Can only be planted in Underlend.<br><br>Garlic:<br>Planted on farmland and grows using potato crop behavior.<br><br>Honeygrain:<br>Planted on farmland and grows using wheat crop behavior.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Harvesting Specialty Crops<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When a specialty crop is fully mature and broken, it will drop:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>AetherHarvest ingredient<br>Possible specialty seed returns<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>Honeygrain crop<br>\u2192 drops Honeygrain<br>\u2192 may return Honeygrain Seeds<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>If a specialty crop is broken before it is mature, it will not drop the ingredient.
